Crockpot Nacho Cheese Dip

 

Nacho Cheese Dip is one of the easiest, most versatile dips you can make in your slow cooker.  Have it on game day, movie night, etc.  Some like it hot & spicy, some like it meaty, and then for a few … simple is best.  The beauty is, you can’t go wrong.  Do it your way.  Watch the video below and read the recipe, then make your very own customized Nacho Dip!

 

 

 

Crockpot Nacho Cheese Dip

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

1 pound Velveeta process cheese
2 teaspoons Taco seasoning
1 can Ro-Tel Tomatoes with chilies

Directions

  1. Cube cheese and place in Crock Pot. Cover and heat 30 to 60 minutes until melted, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in tomatoes and seasoning.
  3. Cover and keep warm on LOW for up to 4 hours.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or corn chips.

Notes

Suggested optional add-ins:

1 lb. cooked ground beef or sausage - 2 cups chicken, cooked & shredded - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - 2 Tbsp. chopped jalapeño - hot sauce, to taste - 1/4 cup scallions, chopped - 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped - 2 cloves garlic, minced - chopped fresh cilantro (add just before serving)
